Setting Up Outlook XP/2003 Instructions

1. Double click on the Outlook / Mail Icon. Once opened, go to the top menu bar and choose Tools

2. From the Tools menu, select E-Mail Accounts

3. Put a dot in front of View or change existing e-mail accounts

4. Click Next

5. Under the Name column, highlight the default mail account name by clicking on it once

6. Click Change

7. On this menu, the following information should be typed in:
   
   Your Name: Your real name (if you want to be identified)
   E-mail Address: Type your e-mail address here
   User Name:  Enter your full e-mail address
   Password:  Enter password in lowercase letters.
       (Password will only show as *****)
   Incoming mail server (POP3): pop3.newulmtel.net
   Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.newulmtel.net
    

8. Click More Settings

9. Click the the Outgoing Server tab

10. Put a check mark in the box that says My outgoing (SMTP) requires authentication

11. Put a dot in front of Use same settings as incoming mail server

12. Click OK

13. Click Next

14. Click Finish
